Blender Operator (Batching, Mixing, Compounder)

Overview

The Blender/Batching Tech will combine raw materials for the production of finished beverage products within formula specifications by controlling the blending process and thermal systems.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for mix/use chemicals, sanitation, system clean-up and report material usage
  • Blend ingredients to formula quality standards,
  • Monitor and control thermal processing,
  • Maintain Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP),
  • Conduct analytical quality testing and report results,
  • Troubleshoot equipment/ingredient problems,
  • Mathematically calculate batch corrections,
  • Proper documentation of all daily activities,
  • Perform preventive maintenance checks on all related equipment,
  • Perform product changes when necessary,
  • Work assigned shifts, as determined by business needs, in accordance with work-week
  • Support safety and quality Initiatives
  • Perform other tasks as required

Education and Additional Requirements

  • High School Diplomaorequivalent

  • Ability to understand and communicate instructions in English

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/food productionenvironment

Skills:

English Language; Troubleshooting; Machine Operations; Mathematics; Writing; Forklift License; Mechanical Apptitude; Computer Literacy; Communication

Pay Range:$51,480 - $62,920
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
